Excellence
as a legacy
In 1961, Mr. Henri Sherman established himself as an electrician in Paris. He quickly distinguished himself by his high standards, his rigour and his commitment. Within a few years, the quality of his work enabled him to establish himself as a renowned craftsman. He surrounded himself with experienced journeymen to whom he patiently passed on his know-how and ethics. With his “boys”, Mr Henri shapes year after year the reputation of excellence of his House.
LIONEL SHERMAN
More than 20 years after his first steps, Henri Sherman was joined by his son Lionel in 1982. After ten years spent on building sites as an electrician, he took over the reins of the company.
While visiting the United States, Lionel Sherman discovered the first home automation solutions that offered unprecedented functionality and comfort. He immediately decided to reorient the company towards the integration of these systems into high-end interiors. The success was immediate. HENRI became the first company to offer its customers cutting-edge technological solutions that were subtly integrated into the decoration and very easy to use: a new refinement to live with every day.
LIONEL SHERMAN
Third generation, third chapter in the history of HENRI. Michaël, Lionel’s son, joined the company in 2010. Faithful to the family tradition, he spends time on the building sites, immersing himself in the trade, its culture and its codes. This trained engineer has taken on the mission of giving new impetus to the House to meet today’s challenges.
Under his leadership, HENRI accelerated its growth to become a flagship of French excellence. New locations opened their doors: Cannes in 2016, Annecy in 2020, and finally New York in 2022. A new territory, like a blank page, that HENRI will write while respecting its identity and its convictions: the tireless quest for the highest quality, the high standards and respect for the people who participate in its development every day.
