219 rooms and 17 suites, including 4 royal suites, spread over 8 floorsTo restore the George V to its former glory, Pierre-Yves Rochon carried out a spectacular renovation that revives the spirit of the great 18th-century hotels. Marble floors, trompe-l’œil ceilings, crystal chandeliers, rich fabrics and majestic gilding make up a dazzling Louis XVI-style décor. It’s a masterpiece that magnifies French classicism while meeting the contemporary demands of an exceptional establishment.
Accompanying this metamorphosis represented a major challenge for Maison HENRI. The largest project ever undertaken by our teams, the project mobilized some twenty experts on site for almost three years. HENRI was tasked with equipping all rooms and suites with customized technological solutions, to offer guests an experience as fluid as it is refined. A demanding balance between technical excellence and the art of detail, a brilliant demonstration of HENRI’s expertise.
“We particularly appreciated Maison Henri’s involvement throughout this exceptional renovation project. From the initial studies through to completion, the teams’ availability, attentiveness and agility enabled us to guarantee the success of the project, both technically and in terms of meeting deadlines.”

Signature lighting
HENRI has given careful thought to the lighting in its rooms, to create a personalized atmosphere at every moment, and to make it as easy to use as possible. In perfect harmony with the decor, a centralized management keyboard allows light to be modulated in an instant using different scenarios, or adjusted manually in certain areas of the room for optimum comfort. A discreet path of light guides your steps at night, while a carefully designed welcome scene envelops every arrival in a warm, refined ambience.
Blinds and curtains: a bespoke atmosphere
The control pad that orchestrates the lighting also lets you play with natural light with a simple gesture. Curtains, sheers, blackout blinds or marine blinds: entirely made-to-measure, the openings are controlled as precisely as they are quietly, for the perfect balance between privacy and light.
A virtuoso sound system
HENRI has equipped certain rooms and suites with a discreet, refined audio system, offering remarkably immersive sound quality. From the centralized control keypad, each guest can connect his or her phone and easily play music in the room of his or her choice, or in multi-room mode.
Intelligence for comfort
Each room is equipped with discreet, intuitive solutions for a perfectly harmonious stay. In several places, a Do Not Disturb button allows you to indicate in a single gesture whether you wish to preserve your privacy or signal a room available for service. The intelligent thermostat automatically adjusts the temperature according to the presence of guests or the opening of windows, guaranteeing both optimum comfort and responsible energy management.
“Carried out in a demanding context, this project represented a major challenge for HENRI: renovating almost 250 rooms in an establishment as prestigious as the Four Seasons Hotel George V, while it was still in operation. It’s a real source of pride for us to have risen to this challenge, and I’m very grateful to both our teams and our partners.”
