Designed to house the owner’s remarkable art collection as well as serve as a home for his family, this superb mansion was transformed by Valérie Rostaing. The interior designer has created a timeless, warm, and deeply refined setting, where the artworks and everyday life complement each other in a masterful balance.

For this unique space, HENRI has designed a fully custom technological installation, crafted to complement every aspect of the client’s lifestyle. Here, the sophistication of the solutions takes a back seat to the simplicity of use—the very essence of Maison HENRI’s expertise.

The elegance of simplicity

To transform this Belle Époque mansion into a truly livable space, Valérie Rostaing envisioned an elegant yet understated interior. The spaces and materials were thoughtfully crafted to highlight the artwork without ever sacrificing the warmth of the space. The interior design is executed with great precision, where art interacts naturally with everyday life.

Building on a relationship of trust with both the property owner and the architect, Maison HENRI was asked to devise technological solutions worthy of this extraordinary project. The challenge was twofold: to meet the client’s high technological expectations while allaying their concerns about unnecessary complexity. Through in-depth discussions, we defined a customized approach guided by a clear principle: to design sophisticated yet intuitive solutions, crafted to take a back seat to the overall experience.

Lighting, audio, video, security, climate control, control interfaces… Every feature has been designed with a constant focus on precision and fluidity. A project masterfully executed down to the smallest detail, where technology becomes a natural extension of the space, serving a lifestyle that is both sophisticated and resolutely simple.

An immersive experience in the seventh art

Designed for enjoyment and relaxation, the private theater was created to offer a spectacular experience. Cleverly concealed, a 7.4.4 audio system—seven speakers, four subwoofers, and four ceiling speakers—delivers a fully immersive sound experience, further enhanced by the screen’s acoustic treatment. This state-of-the-art setup is perfect for both private movie screenings and karaoke nights, much to the delight of the family’s children.

A high-quality sound system

Designed to enhance every moment of life, the audio system has been crafted with meticulous care. Whether hidden from view or discreetly integrated into the decor, the speakers blend seamlessly into the various spaces and deliver impeccable sound quality both indoors and outdoors. The highly intuitive system lets you control the property’s soundscape with the touch of a finger using an iPhone or iPad.

Perfect peace of mind

Since the homeowner wanted security to be integrated as seamlessly as the other HENRI solutions, our teams designed a custom system to protect the property. Touchscreens on each floor allow users to control access to both the house and the indoor pool, while intercoms are used to identify visitors and grant them access remotely. This discreet and intuitive approach is designed to preserve the property’s privacy with ease.
